It’s been an award-fest in the blogging world lately!
The other day, I was given the Versatile Blogger award and the Liebster Blog award.
Since then, I was given the Versatile Blogger award by Christy Farmer also. Since I’ve already passed the award on to 15 others, I’m not going to do it again. I don’t have time. But, I have a big thank you for Christy, and you all should definitely go check out her blog!
Nellie, at The Scribbling Pencil (she’s a fellow NaNoWriMo ML
), award me with the Irresistibly Sweet Blogger Award. Thanks, dear!
Brenna Braaten at Blissfully Brenna has passed on the One Lovely Blog award! Thank you!
Also, Barbara Evers at An Eclectic Muse tagged me!
I have to give another random 10 facts about myself – you’re all going to know me VERY well by the end of this campaign if these things keep going around, lol!
However, because I really don’t have the time to go through and do all the requirements for each one of these things, I’m going to mix them up a little bit!
So, first things first, I’ll give you ten random facts about me, and then give out awards/tagging
1. I am an avid Lord of the Rings fan. I own two copies of the LOTR and the Hobbit – one set of paperback, one set of hardback. I also own the Silmarillion, Book of Lost Tales, the LOTR Reader Companion, the Atlas’ of Middle-Earth, Children of Hurin, and LOTR Trivial Pursuit. I also wrote LOTR fanfiction. And RPG’d at the LOTR Fanatics Plaza for several years.
2. I was a Mary Kay consultant for a short period of time. It really wasn’t worth it.
3. I talk in my sleep. And if I sleep on an air mattress, I’m more likely to snore.
4. I hate the way make-up feels on my face.
5. I have read the Bible from cover-to-cover three times in my life so far.
6. I had a guinea pig named Vanilla Bean Caramel when I was a kid. He was longhaired, colored white with an orange streak down his nose. He lived for seven years after I got him.
7. The Twilight Saga is my guilty pleasure, just because I love the story. It also gives me hope – if Stephenie Meyer can get published, me getting published should be a breeze! My writing is way better than hers!
8. I have a burgeoning tea cup collection. If you are ever getting rid of a tea cup, tea pot, or tea set, let me know!
9. I really don’t enjoy driving. If the bus system here was reliable, or if our city was pedestrian/bike rider friendly, I wouldn’t drive.
10. I adore all things pumpkin. Any time of the year, I can be bribed with pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin ice cream, and even whole pumpkins!
And as for whom I’m passing on blog awards to . . .
Jean Marie Bauhaus at Jeanie Writes Genre, I’m giving you the Irresistibly Sweet Blogger award! You can read my review of her book ‘Restless Spirits’ here.
Nicole Basaraba at Uni-Verse-City gets the One Lovely Blog award!
As for tagging . . . well, if you read this post, YOU’RE IT!

Darn it! I read this post so that means I’m tagged. I’ll have to think about it and put up a 10 random facts post today. =)
As for talking in your sleep…I’ll take that as due notice of being warned before the conference! LOL
I put that in there half for that reason, hehe. Just please don’t record me . . . you can write down whatever you want, I just don’t ever want to hear it on playback!
I already did the tag thing, so I’m exempt *phew*. Congrats on all your awards.
I’m the same about driving. In fact, growing up in England, I never learned. I’m lucky, living in Portland, I probably never will learn now.
Lucky. You have no idea how much money you’re saving not having to buy gas. And how stress-free your life is.
I already did this tag list too.
I love teacup collections. Some of them are lovely.
My grandmother just gave my mom her teacup collection. I’m so going to steal them one at a time.
Oh no, you had me at Lord of the Rings! Lol! I noticed you posted on Rachael’s blog for beta/critique and I stopped by to read more and I guess now I’m tagged! ; )
Hehe. I can’t wait to read your 10 random facts!! Did I mention that I got into LOTR RPG at the Fanatics Plaza because I was/am a quiz junkie and HAD to take the epic 101 question quiz about LOTR?
Hah! Since I tagged you, I guess I’m immune to being tagged back…at least that’s how I’m gonna play it. I loved your last part on #7. I’m sure a LOT of us write better than Stephanie. If she can get published and reach such a high level of readership, there really is hope for the rest of us.
No, you don’t have to do it again
.
Ah, hope . . . one of the many things that keep us writing!
#7 is my favorite. Twilight is my guilty pleasure and I write better than Stephanie Meyer, too!
Hasn’t stopped me from reading those books over and over, though. *So embarrassing!*
*g* I am so tempted to write Twilight fan fiction, because there’s just so much potential! Especially potential to make it better!
I talk in my sleep. >,> Apparently my girlfriend has said I’ve said things before like, “I’m the bestest” (does that mean I’m arrogant?), or I’ll just start randomly laughing hysterically in my sleep.
She has no room to say anything! I caught her saying, “Daddy’s going to make me sandwiches,” and another time, shouting “Poop!” in her sleep.
She’d kill me if anybody knew that!
LOL! I don’t want to know half of what I’ve said in my sleep . . .
Somehow I was nominated for the versatile blogger award, so I’m passing it along to you and you can add it to your award list!!

hehe, thanks Shannon! That’ll be my . . . third one, I think?
I like to drive, but not always so much in the city. I much prefer to see a woman with no make-up or very limited tastefully applied make-up.
