What happened today:
Second write-in! We had 13 people show up for this one, our biggest Wendy’s write-in to date since our previous ML started holding them there in 2009. It was fabulous!
We had another earth-rumble. I’m still hearing everything from ‘new earthquake’ to ‘aftershock’. It was a 4.7. To be honest, though, none of us at the Wendy’s even felt it. They must have a pretty sturdy foundation.
I also love our NaNo chat bot (his main purpose is timing word wars, but he has several other functions as well 😉 ). He gave me a million bucks last night, in addition to what he gave me on Day 3. Too bad none of it is real . . .

Her eyes blinked, and a single tear fell down her cheek. He had known that she was okay, and he couldn’t imagine how frantic he would have been if he had not been able to know how she was doing at all. She had been required to keep a facade up for days, and he had been going along his merry way compared to that. Not that being away from her for so long hadn’t been torture, but he was realizing that she had been tormented by worries the entire time.
“I need to talk to some people,” he said . . .
