#WriteMotivation, Camp NaNoWriMo, and Moving
This month has been crazy. Since I just posted my #writemotivation list on Monday, and I haven’t made any progress since then, I’m not going to go into that again right now.
I think I made good progress, considering what’s gone on this month with buying a house, with birthdays (mine was yesterday), going to the OWFI conference, etc.
Life is life – it throws curve balls and amazing gifts, all at the same time.
We’re closing on the house today. I actually feel confident enough to say that now. We were supposed to close last Friday. (Okay, I’ve been working on this blog post for the past 4 hours in-between work. Just got the official – WE ARE CLOSING TODAY! I have the final numbers!!!! And we’re $1000 under what I thought we were going to be!!!)
And Camp NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow!
I’m attempting to use Undoing for my Camp NaNo novel. I doubt that I’m going to be as detailed tracking it as I was with NaNoWriMo last year, though.
Because we’re also moving.
So, here are my June goals:
1. Move without going insane.
2. Complete 50,000 words of Undoing through Camp NaNoWriMo.
3. Keep working on edits/revisions/etc for Blood of Trees (formerly Weeping Willow).
4. Work on devotional book.
5. Finish and debut the SUPER TOP SECRET PROJECT! (all shall be revealed in time, bwahahahahaha!!!)
Great goals for June!
Happy belated Birthday and Congrats on getting to close on the house today.
You’ve got so much going on that simply “Keeping sane” would be a great goal 🙂
Congrats on the house! It’s nice to know it worked out. I agree with Angela. Moving and getting things in order so that you can write anything is goal enough, but I applaud your determination. Good Luck!
Sanity is overrated. 😉 I didn’t know about Camp Nanowrimo, I am going to be checking it out. Right now. Bye! (Want a free kitten?)
Wow, you’re looking at a very busy June. Good luck making it through with your sanity intact 🙂
I think you made great progress during May. Congrats on the new house, and good luck with Camp Nanowrimo!

That is one scary big list. And I thought I was ambitious!
Well, I guess I’m not.
If you can successfully complete goal #1, you’re already doing a fantastic job. Everything else is icing on the cake! P.S. Can’t wait for the devotional book. I’ll beta/edit as much as you want me to when the time comes. =)
