Nice Pitera for reasons! Yes!!
I’m glad you love the movie so much AND that you finally have it. =) I felt like this one moved at least a little back toward ‘old Disney’ and I think that’s one of the reasons I adored it so much!
*nod* Watching it makes me feel like a kid again, and not in the immature way, but in the “everything is new and fresh and wonderful each day!” kind of way.
Tangled and Wreck-It-Ralph signal, I hope, a new Disney Animation Renaissance. Both are amazing films.
I haven’t seen Wreck-It-Ralph yet, but it’s on the watch list!
It’s one of the most smartly plotted animated films I’ve seen in decades. And it has heart, too!
I’m glad you don’t want to watch Mars Needs Moms. It’s okay as far as animation but the plot was lame. Trust me, do not watch it. *Follow your isntincts, Rebekah* /Darth Vader 😉
Ahem… I loved Tangled also. To me, it revamped the entire Rapunzel story and gave it new life. Gotta love the hero and how he has to figure out how to handle an over-sheltered teen.
One of the smartest things Disney has done in the past 15 years, IMO, was to buy Pixar, put John Lasseter in charge of their entire animation department, and essentially say “Go do that voodoo that you do so well!”
Because most of the stuff they’ve put out since then has been good-to-great, as opposed to fair-to-decent.
I loved Wreck-It Ralph as well as Tangled, but I think Wreck-It Ralph has a special place in my heart for alllllll the geeky game references. 🙂
And Flynn Rider’s voice actor is Zachary Levi. He and Mandy Moore (who voiced Rapunzel) actually did a duet of “I See the Light” at the Oscars in 2011.
Tangled is SUCH a wonderful movie. I’m not just saying that because I tend to favor animation over some of this stuff being passed off as movies. Tangled makes you feel like dancing, running, jumping and wishing so hard you feel a warm squeeze upon your heart.
Okay. Nuff said on my end lol!
I should have posted yesterday, but your post literally sent me on a three-hour Disney inspired music/movie watching party (at work). Thanks! LOL.
I loved Tangled! We watched in in the Theaters on a Tuesday night. No one was there, it was great!
Hehehe, there’s really not anything more fun than watching Disney song covers on youtube! Especially when you find GOOD ones. So… you’re welcome? 😀
