I like seeing your garden. We have a white cat too, his name is Malibu! Chris weed eating our garden at the moment, we didn’t get a whole lot of produce this year, its like it went from cold to hot, and then the grasshoppers are going berserk! The winter wasn’t cold enough to freeze a lot of insects I guess. I can’t believe you got hail! We were at Grand Lake on the 4th and didn’t get any there. Have fun with your urban farm, its so therapeutic!
Thanks! I haven’t planted near as much as I wanted to this year, tomatoes and peppers (and accidental compost potatoes?) are the only things growing right now. I’m not having any problems with grasshoppers, personally… but I suspect the chickens may be helping with that.
Fortunately, we didn’t get a lot of hail, but it was quite the surprise!
We used to have one of those turtles!! We called him TooToo, and he lasted a good… oh geeze, 14 years? Easily? as a house pet rescued from the outside. One winter he just disappeared, never have found him. I joke that he’s feasting on things on the crawlspace, and one of these years we’ll find him grown gigantic and having eaten everything in there. Strange weather, but fun eggs and yummy looking tomato! 😀
That turtle looks like my Matilda.
That sudden storm severely tested my husband as it struck up just when our grill was hot and ready to cook some meat.
Hmmmm . . . my cat must have helped me something, too. She’s been sleeping all day. 😉
